Vintage 1983 U2 WAR Tour T-Shirt
This is a truly awesome piece of vintage rock n' roll memorabilia! Rare and collectible, this shirt is original from U2's 1983 WAR Tour. It is pre-owned but is in excellent condition.
It has a perfect balance of vintage wear-and-tear but not to the point where the shirt is trashed. There are a few very small holes near the right shoulder, bottom left side, and lower-front center area. Additionally, there are a couple of light discoloration marks on the front and back. The shirt has an overall faded look in the best way possible - the lettering on the front has cool looking cracking marks, and the lettering on the back has some fading of the color to give it that truly vintage look and feel.
This shirt is also very well made - it is not stiff at all and has a desirable stretchiness along with being thin but not sheer. The size tag is missing on this shirt, but I would say it best fits a men's small or a women's medium. The dimensions of this shirt are approximately 24 1/4" from top shoulder to bottom and 19" pit-to-pit.
The back of this shirt has a beautiful overall look, with a cool rectangular graphic in the middle, and all of the Spring 1983 tour dates listed in chronological order below. These true vintage WAR tour shirts are hard to find, especially in this color (faded gray) and size.
